Can I reclear after wet sanding?
I sprayed two coats of clear on the body last night and wet sanded today to 2000 grit. I have most of the orange peel out but I'd like to spray another wet coat of clear. Can I clean and reclear now or is 2000 to fine to spray over? Thanks

I don't see why not. Although it seems like it would cause the final coat of clear to have a hazy look to it.
I color sand all the time, then clear. But never resprayed clear after sanding. You usually buff the clearout after wet sanding...
Why do you want to spray more clear?

I read a couple forums and the guys claim it looks "amazing" when done. Guess I'm just PO'd with the orange peel on one side and figured shooting another coat would even things out...I only sprayed the body so far

You should have waited a few more days to wet sand, the clear was probably balling up on your paper. I can almost guarantee that you don't have all the peel out if all you did was sand with 2000. Wait a couple more days, wet sand with 600 then re-clear. Don't burn through.

I started with 500 on the really rough side and worked up to 1200.....most of its out.......the other side and window frame weren't that bad.....the can states you can sand/polish after 8 hours so thats what I went by

Re: Can I reclear after wet sanding?
Based on those pics there's still more sanding to do. Wait for it to harden up a bit more then hit it with wet 600 until there is a uniform dullness with no specs of shine. If you're careful you can over-reduce your clear by 10-15% and that'll help with orange peel. It'll be a bit less viscous, so be careful.

Don't have a closer pic from when I wet sanded. But thats the final 3000 over. All one single dull shade. No pot holes or valleys in the clear so that shiny places (un sanded clear) are gone. To put it into simple terms.
