Subframe upgrade?

Car: 1988 Gta trans am
Engine: LR4 4.8
Transmission: 98-02 t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: Bw 9 bolt (3.70’s) pbr rotors
Subframe upgrade?
Hey does anyone know if you can upgrade a third gen subframe/frame to a 4th gen. I was thinking about it, and I need to buy all new connectors and whatnot, but just curious if anyone has heard of this. Thanks in advance

there is no "frame", so no you cant.
at least one person has cut the front end of a 4th gen and grafted it to a 3rd gen, from the firewall forward, so they could use the 4th gen front suspension design. Thats a crap ton of work, defiantly not a DIY project.
nothing from the 4th gen front end will bolt or line up in any way to a 3rd gen. However, the rear suspension is the same
