Body Question
Body Question
Hey guys. I recently purchased a '92 Formula and noticed something weird as I looked at all these pictures of other cars. All the late 3rd gens I see have that line running down the door of the body (whatever you would like to call it). Why in the heck do I not? It's not even that I don't have it on the door, I don't have the ends of that imprint anywhere on the body. Is this weird?

Re: Body Question
They're just a rubber strip to protect from door dings. Which dont really even work really. A PO must have taken them off at some time, unless your car didnt come with them from the factory which could be an option i guess

Re: Body Question
looks like you have a aero package firebird with w a Formy or early T/A hood with some newer formula decals.
Cars could have been ordered with or without the door mouldings.

Re: Body Question
Thanks, guys. I'm new to these cars and couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why my car was the only one without that. lol And yes, I'm still not sure how I feel about the hood, or the front bumper for that matter, which was from an early model as well.
