LED Lights and Clear Side Markers
Ive got two questions for you guys. Since im going to do a HID conversion on my car and no LED tail light kits are out there for my car i was wondering if anyone has used those regular LED replacment "bulbs" available online to replace the regular bulbs normally used on the car. If so, how well did they work for you? Secondly, i cant seem to find a good place to buy clear side markers for both the fron and back of my 82 firebird. I know ive seen them on other cars so any help finding them would be great. Thanks

If you want LED for your tail/brake you need to do an actual retro. Open the lens up, and build a board with LEDS. That's what I did on the camaro, and it looks great.

make your own, it's not that difficult to do.
I have a thread on here, where I went start to finish of mine. And the firebird ones I think would be easier, since you don't have that wrap around triangle piece.

I would make my own but i fear im not good with that stuff and would ultimately mess somethign up. lol
That and i now have the grid style housings so it would be a lot harder to lign the LEDs up so it didnt look funny.
As for the markers i didnt think i could find the front and back markers, just the front (again, i think) but ill keep trying. Since my car isnt here right now are the back markers the same as the front ones (ive only removed the front ones)?

Ive seen them on other cars on this site though. O well, i guess red ones arent aweful. I wanted to get rid of the front yellow ones more than anything.
