388

I'm not sure if this is the right section. I'm building a 388 stroker for my 1985 Firebird. It's going to be pushing 400hp at the crank. I am going to install the sub frame connectors. I talked to a guy who "has been building firebirds all his life" and he said sub frame connectors will not be enough support because it has t-tops. How true is this? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Re: 388

subframe connecters will make a big difference! i have t-tops. once i put the sfcs in and a strut tower brace, they never squeked again. yea, im not sure if this is the right section? you might get more help if you post under suspension or something? best of luck on your build.
