Painting Issue
I finally got around to spraying my '90 RS yesterday and I got the first thin coat down when the air compressor I rented failed.
I returned it and the only other alternate compressor is rented for the weekend. I have finals this coming week, so I won't be able to acquire another compressor during the week.
So, my question is, can I just get another compressor next weekend and continue spraying? Or will there be problems with the paint adhering since it will have fully dried? I sure don't want to have to sand the entire car again if I don't have to.
Thanks for any input.

Re: Painting Issue
Yes you'll need to sand it again, but as mentioned, scuff it with a red scotch brite if you're using single stage and a gray one if you're BC/CC.

Alright, thanks for the guidance.
There was a run or two I spotted, I'll take care of that with the scuff pad.

Re: Painting Issue
Alright, so I'll probably have to use 400 grit sandpaper or something on the runs then? The scuff pad will suffice for the rest of the car though, correct?
Also, what grit sandpaper equivalent is a scuff pad?
