I am going to smooth a few areas under the hood of my car. I don't need the match to be perfect as it will not easily be visible behind under the hood and engine. Is there a close match I can get from autozone or a similar store?

 

If you know the color code no.Dupli-Color Perfect Match has GM colors that match up very good,I know Pep Boys and Advanced Auto carry that brand.

 

What's the point of bondo-ing smooth areas under the hood just to rattle can it?

 

 

Duplicolor does not make a spectra Red unfortunately.

 

Why does it have to be Spectrum Red,If they have the GM paint code no.for your car then use that.They only had one Red color for that year.

 

I was told when the car was repainted it was spectra red paint code 75

 

Just buy a can of code 75 Red and see if it matches,I mean code 75 Red would be the color your looking for,weather it has a color name or not.

 

Cool do you know where I can get one besides paint scratch or some other custom mix site?

 

You can try a place a couple of members bought from,(for our interior finish) BAPS it's in York PA look them up on the web,but you can probably get that from any automotive paint supply,just give them the code and just ask if they mix and put it in a spray can
