Re: bumper repair help... HELP PLEASE

3M sells a flexible plastic repair epoxy that works well (I repaired some pretty big tears on my front bumper). Just make sure you use it along with the proper plastic cleaner and adhesion promoter.

Almost any two part epoxy will work, haven't had any crack in the curves area on mine.
But I have fixed a few smaller cracks with two part epoxy. Works great.

They sell "Bumper Repair Kits" at auto body stores. It's basically an epoxy with a mesh for reinforcement. I've used one to successfully repair worse damage that you have.

Re: bumper repair help... HELP PLEASE

Try and repair from the back side, so you don't have all the epoxy on the front. Get the 5 minute set. Anything longer will be a pain holding it in place while it dries.
Stuff really works! take your time and do it right.

Re: bumper repair help... HELP PLEASE

The 3M products involve using a reinforcing behind the repair if possible and 'V'ing out the crack so there is plenty of space for the material to adhere and using the proper cleaner and adhesive promoter.
Hot Rod or Car Craft has a nice tutorial on the subject I think...
I have a split in my chin spoiler that I am going to try it on.
