covering a/c holes
the covers i found on ebay look like something i could just do with a cookie sheet but for 50$. would i be able to cut a cookie sheet put it over the holes on the firewall and have it be safe?

The cookie sheet will be big enough to cover all the holes without cutting it up, just screw the whole tray to the firewall.

I've got to ask: WHY? Unless it's a full-out drag car (and never going back), there is no reason for it. I swore up and down at the guy who installed the piece of metal blocking the blower inlet hole on the 88 and also for all of the duct tape he had covering things like the pass-through behind the passenger's side kick panel (for the engine wiring) and other things. It's pointless, and someday, you may find you wish you hadn't...
