ac control panel issues?

ac control panel issues?
Hi Guys,
just got a new to me thrid gen car. 1984 firebird s/e 1 owner car. 305 v8 auto cruise ac system. The ac panel when i try to turn it to off setting it is turning the blower on? also when moving the lever across the different positions bi level etc it some times turn the blower on ??!!?? Any body have this problem before? Any thoughts going to be tearing the panel down tommorrow to take a look and maybe see what is going on back there.

got it figured out the switch clip had broken causing the problem used a washer and pan head bolt and all good now!!!
btw classic industries has the switch for 15 bucks!
