I NEED INPUT!!!!

I want to buy the Z-28 Turbo body kit from american racing but it says that it has rear quarter panels. As my car doesn't actually have rear quarter panels i am assuming that they will have to be cut. They say that the kit will fit on my car but i should have a body shop put it on. My car has never seen a shop or another mechanic ( not counting my dad) so i am a little nervous about the $$$$ Involved in this . Anyone do something like this or had it done How hard is it how much will a body shop charge???

Thanx for the help!

I'm not familiar with the turbo body kit you mention but you car does have rear quarters they are just welded together forming the rear third of the car. Most body kits that offer rear quarter panels for our cars simply bond on over the existing quarters. Motion Performance offers a wide body kit that does just that.
As for having a shop do it, most companies offer this as a legal disclaimer, so if you damage it your stuck. It all depends on how adept you are at car stuff. If your confident, do it yourself, just BE PATIENT and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. Good luck.

Just a blind guess, here in NYC, it would run you from $600 to $1000 to install nose, spoiler(s), lower rockers(2), rear spoiler(s), and bond the rear quarters. You'll definitely save money if you have the same shop install the pieces and paint the car.
