Driver Side Floor Pan Rust

I pulled up the carpet today and noticed the driver side floor pan has rusted. I started to sand the rust down and found out there's not much metal left. Has anyone had their floor pan replaced? If so, how much did it cost?

You live in Florida and your floors are rusted? Where did your car originally come from?

Im origionally from Buffalo, NY. I think that explains the rust...

I went to a collision shop and the guy started telling me everything has to be dropped and it's going to cost me a fortune and wouldnt even give me a quote because his computer didn't give him a time for it. I've found a welder who said he can put a new one in for under $100.00. The car was in an accident and you can see where it was replaced once before. They probably used an aftermarket flor pan because the passenger side is in great shape.

You can see the carpet from the bottom on my car. It's about a 1.5 inch hole.

When i pulled up my carpet, i found water and surface rust on my drivers side pan. I traced it down to a bad body seam. The seam was half up the front corner, water was leaking in and running down to my pan. i got lucky that i caught it before it got real bad. I bought some body seam sealer at autozone and resealed the front seams myself. It works great, no leaks at all
