How to adjust headlights

How to adjust headlights
I have been trying to line my headlights up with my fenders and front bumper. I have been playing around with them for the last few days. i am just at a loss, i have loosen all the bolts to try and manipulate into place. it just is not enough. Any ideas?

I too am having this problem. I had the h/l assembly out and now they won't line up. I marked the bolts and put them back to their last position but now there is about a 3/8 step gap. I will pots some pics soon.

Did you remove the front bumper or fenders? Maybe the bumper support needs to come down a little.

No, all I did was pulled the h/l assembly's out and rebuilt the motors and put them back in. I did change the hood struts too, but I doubt that has anything to do with this. All gaps are fine just the step is out. Hood to fender and hood to nose gaps are good. The drivers side h/l could use a little step adjustment also, it's just not as bad as the passenger side. Also I'm not sure how bad it was before I removed them since the car has had the hood up for the past three weeks and was in storage for 8 years before that.
