the guy said these tops are made of a material called stafast which OEM. ok, first question is what is oem? is that like factory or even better? second a price for that top with a glass window is $369, and $306 for a vinyl window. is that any good? i want the canvas factory type material instead of a vinyl top. like i stated in the past, i have a chance to get a factory top with a vinyl window though for $375. which would be better? i would prefer a glass window though.

OEM means "original equipment manufacture". In other words, factory. I dont see how you could use a glass window, because on my 89 the window has to fold in order for the top to be stowed.

 

Where can you get a new top for 306? Ineed one too! I have a 91 z-28

Stafast is the material that OEM tops are made from. The OEM tops will give you a 1 year 1,200 mile warranty. E-Z on will give you a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty. Stafast is made from acrylic fiber.
The auction related price for that top in vinyl is $183 w/ a vinyl window and $306 w/ a glass window. In Stafast (cloth) it is
$296 w/ a vinyl window and $369 w/ a glass window. The glass window needs to be folded down before the top goes down.
