Help with first restore on 1985 camaro

Help with first restore on 1985 camaro

So i have a 1985 Camaro berlinetta picked up really cheap we are going to restore. (please dont tell me how its a mistake or to drop it, its a father son project) so eveything on the car must go, all interior is out, engine and tranny are out, everything in engine bay is gone, with the acception of power steering box sway bar and maybe a few other things (stored ar a warehouse so cant look now) id just like some advice, or help with what i should do, like how do i prep it to be blasted, painted, ect. id appreciate any help. Thanks. new to the restoring any advice would be helpful. the body is in ok shape theres rust, floorboards need replaced, and drivers door rusted through and wheel wells need some work.

Congrats on the car, glad to see a father son project on the 85 Berlinetta(I have an 84 Berlinetta). Lots of great people here with amazing cars and incredible skills. I am sure you will find what you need.

ok so ive never done any body work like this before, ive done some small things, but never anything like the rear quarter rust hole the size of a can. so i ask should i do the body work myself or send it someplace to get done, on a bit of a budget so be gentle.
