I have an 85 firebird and after a month of searching and stoping leaks from my t top the last leak was coming underneath the dash from the passenger I would get these giant puddles and today I pulled back my carpet and found this hole that water is coming from when I use hose on the cowl vent the passenger side water comes down from this small hole, idkn weather I should pull back the cowl and see if I have depreas or should I just use silicone on the hole but I'm not sure if it there's for circulation for the air and or if I do fill it will the water simply redirect to somewhere else in the car word ur take on this?

 

Do you have a picture of the hole? Normally a puddle on the passenger side floor is the result of the heater core leaking.

 

It could very well be that your seam sealer is old and needs to be cleaned and replaced. That is if it is not anti freeze. That body seam is where you were running the hose.

 

Yeah the water as u can see from the pic is coming from that orange thing that drips to to floor filing my seat up thierr is black silicon I think? falling apart and breaking whenever I touch it
