ASCD hood problem

I have had my hood for a few months and have not figured out how to mount my hood release spring. What has everyone else done? the hood has no provisions for the spring.

I put mine on the car next to the hood release assembly. I drilled a small hole to place the "tail" of the spring into, then two holes on either side of the spring on the opposite side of the spring from the tail. Through those two holes I ran a zip-tie over the spring to hold it down. I'll see if I can find pix somewhere.

I didn't bother. I just unsrewed the hood bumpers a little more and it give my hood the extra umph to pop open enough for me to lift it. I would be scared to crack the fiberglass trying to use the spring
