Im goin CRAZY
Ok yesturday i was on the freeway and noticed my hood was bouncing up and down and i havent opend it in a while so i go to close it it kept hitting the latch that goes thoguh the thing on the hood so i moved that back and slamed it and it closed got homme eveyr thing looked ok the release seemed hard to pull. I oiled it but it still felt hard afterwards so i just closed it today it opened again waht can be causing it to open any ideas????

Not fully closed. It was only latched on the secondary latch. Or someone may have pulled the release, but not opened the hood.

I found the problem when i put my battery in it pput tension on the hood relase cable causing it to open
