But sadly it needs to go back, i found a great deal of fish eye (or whatever you call it) and debris in the clear also a bit of bubbling and some orange peel. but over all i love the color.
P.S all i have is a cell to take pics so they ain't very good. ill see of i can get ahold of a good camera and take some better ones.

I just got an LT1 rear disc brake set up in the mail and now I can't get to sleep. I feel like a 6 year old on Christmas. I totally would have cried (In an ungratefull manor) Had I recieved greasy car parts for Christmas at age 6 though. How ironic.

 

idk i've always been the kid who liked getting stuffs like that. but then again i come from a racing family. but i can empathize on what you mean. idc if it is an o-ring if it goes to my car i wont be able to sleep once i hit add to cart.

Car looks good man and I love the color. Sometimes you have to just push the body shop to do better finish work. Stay on them till it looks just right.

Car looks great man. Where did you have yours painted? I just saw mine fresh out of the paint booth today too. I know the feeling, only I haven't picked mine up yet. They had 5-6 debris spots that they wanted to take care of first. I told them not to rush, I'll pick it up when they are happy with it.

 

i got it painted at a local shop, i cant remember the mane right now. i saw toay it is cracking and peeling by the door lock so im asuming with the type of flaws they forgot to wash my car before painting it, or painted it in a dirty booth. i also noticed they didn't paint the inner portion of the mirror so they didn't even take them off like they told me. im not all that upset because im sure they will fix it but the amount i payed compared to the quality doesn't quite match up.

 

Don't go soft on them. Tell it how it is and make sure they do it right. There is no excuse for that kind of work.

 

oh don't get me wrong like i said they will fix it, weather they do or the insurance company makes them pay another company. surprisingly some of the defects disappeared today, but im not sure how.

 

Make sure you take good quality pics of the defects. Document EVERYTHING.

will do, trying to get a hold of a better camera. the only crappy thing about painting it a diffrent collor is i have to go and redo the headliner and side panels to match. right now it is done in maroon crushed velvet to match the color it used to be.
