Removing dash in a 92 RS
I read the post for a 91, is it the same for a 92? If its different, how do I do it to change bulbs? Thanks.

Same thing. Just pop off front trim panel (2 screws on the bottom. You get to them by removing the heavy knee panel. Then there are 4 screws holding the actual gauge cluster in. Don't worry if they fall behind. Then remove the cluster slowely so as to not break off the little trip reset. The lights go in pretty easy just make sure you have the right bulb housings. The stock lights are tacked into the housings :-(
Good luck

while you're in there, remove your speedo and spray some liquid graphite down the speedo cable..
oh wait, your car has the VSS right, not the cable? nm.

Just remember to tilt the steering wheel down to help remove the dash cluster. Also, the bulbs have a funky plastic bayonet fitting on them. They are identified as a 194 pc or 194 p, (I can't recall). At any rate, as usual GM wants a ridiculous amount for them. If you are careful you can get the plastic piece off the burnt out bulbs and swap in a standard 194 bulb which sells for like 1/10th what GM wants for them. I had to fiddle with it a little to get the bulb to make contact with the tangs in the plastic piece, but the price difference makes it worth our while. Good luck, Lon.

Thanks everyone. How many bulbs are back there? Because I decided that while I have it all out I'm just gonna replace all of them.

There are 4 bulbs for lighting up the console (speedo, tach oil, etc... But if you wasnt to replace your SES light , turning signals, bright indicator there is like another 5 more to do . I did this two weeks ago when I put on my guage overlays.
