How compatable are the different year interiors?

My 84 is in desperate need of a new interior so I'm gonna head out to the bone yards and try to find on in good shape. Now here's the question. Are all of the Firebird interiors "bolt in"? Will everything fit in the same hole they came out of if I switch over to a 89-90 interior?

Thanks

They starting switching the interiors in 90. So I believe that you should be able to take anything out of either of those years.

On 89 up the rear seat belts were the shoulder type-on 84's they're the lap type--so you might have a little problem there if you're switching plastic panels. You could always add the perches for the upper seat belts(rears)--make sure you take off the old ones w/all hardware. Good luck!
