If your worried about them at all, spray the lenses in body color, and see if you like the look enough to do it. I vote for shaVe them.

I think you should leave them on. At night, the car will be hard to see directly from the side.

I believe you can have them "smoked" including the front parking lights and rear light cover. Those marker lights are there for safety reasons and I don't beleave its legal to remove them.Call the sheriff's office and ask,it would really suck to find out after the shave has been done.

Paint them body color with a very small decal bird logo over the bulb area. Remove the sticker and they will not stick out like a sore thumb, and still provide some light to keep you out of handcuffs.

I smoked mine until they were basically painted. I put a small circular sticker in the center over the bulb, and they will shine, but with the light off they disappear.

Agree on both!... but lights can be done with body color as well, just not quite as smooth.

When I said smoked I did not mean black.Smoke them just enough that they blend in with the paint a little.About a medium shade.
Black dose not look bad but IMO belongs on a black car as shown above.

But if I have the marker lights shaved, I wonder if I could use the headlamp covers and install a small marker on those. After all, you need them mostly for night driving. I know they also have reflective properties yada, yada, but this car will not be my DD.

Anyway, so that would take care of the front (in theory), but not sure what to do about the quarter panels if I have them shaved.

Maybe use something like this, front and back?

BTW, just did a quick search and found those. I am sure there are other styles.
Thanks man. I like the idea of those lights in the side of the housing. Guess body color on the rear lights with small area of shine through would work.
