Question about the Front Grilles for '83 Camaro Sport Coupe...

Hey guys,

Brief question...
are the lower front Grilles on an '83 Camaro Sport Coupe the same as on an IROC Z28 ?

Here's a Grille same as on my '83 Sport Coupe PN 14019275 (LH) 14019276 (RH), is it interchangeable with a 3rd Gen Z28?:

Thanks!

Gene

No...The 82-84 sport coupe /berlinetta grilles are different from the 82-84 Z28 grilles

Thanks for your input. It prevented me from purchasing the wrong Grilles, albeit at a bargain price.

As I shop around online, I see plenty available for (my) Sport Coupe, however they're running in the $65-$70 range EACH and I'm holding out for a better deal.

Thanks again!

Gene

P.S. if anyone spots a deal for Grilles PN 14019275 (LH) 14019276 (RH) for the Sport Coupe/Berlinetta, I'd be appreciative of a heads-up.

First year of the Third Gen, so I'm presuming they are compatible.

What would it take to get them from you...to me?

Thanks!

Well, they're not in the best of shape, and I'm wondering what might account for the flaking/peeling/delamination/discoloration I see around some of the ribs (especially obvious when the pic is enlarged), almost as if they'd been subjected to fire or extreme heat. They would need to be sanded and re-painted as far as I can tell, and if they were in a fire, the holes might not align if the heat affected them dimensionally.

Would you consider an offer of $20.00 for the pair, including shipping to Oregon and I'll take my chances?

Thank you!

Gene

Hello Gene, I own a 1983 Camaro Berlinetta and I'm trying to find those grill pieces you were talking about. What websites offer those for sale? Grilles PN 14019275 (LH) 14019276 (RH)
