FIREBIRD TO CAMARO INTERIOR CHANGE?
FIREBIRD TO CAMARO INTERIOR CHANGE?
Ok here is the deal. i just bought BLACK seats out of a 1987 Firebird V6,(they are way better than camaro seats) for a very nice price, but my interior is grey now. i was wondering if the black interior in the firedird will bolt right over. the interior on the firebird is almost perfect. and i am redoing my whole car this spring and summer. i figure it will fit. but i just wanted to make sure. thanks anyone. and it was Classic Industries that sells the carpet for Thirdgen's right? just making sure..

Yeah the interior is the same the only real different with the interior's is the dash. All the plastic pieces are the same. I did the same color change with my Iroc it had grey and I changed it over to black and grey. It all came out of a firebird. So hook it up, and good luck, oh heres a pic of mine i used 4gen seats though. I ll post the link when i find it.

hey Dacuma. i like it. but since i have black seats. i think i am going to get ALL the pieces black. and did you take and glue that carpet on those back pieces. and were those easy to get off and on.. i have never messed with that stuff. i just armorall-ed it and that is it.
i do like what you did. but i have to have it all the same color,i am **** like that.
i am painting my car HUGGER ORANGE, and i cant stand the grey int. so black it is. i wanted to find a 97 SS pace car with that white leather but i wasnt lucky enough so i will deal. and i plan on getting an 8pt Cage so i will have to do some cutting of the int. and i want the cage black so you cant see it from the outside of my car. so i have to have it dark inside. but thanks for the pic

Rare Z
I actually didn't start out to change the color of my interior, but I couldn't pass up the deal on my seats. And then when I installed them I thought it would look alot better two tone. Yeah I yanked off the carpet off my grey panels and glued them on to my black ones. It wasn't too bad, cause the years and heat had loosed up the glue. Alittle pain but it was well worth it. Oh and if your refering to taking out the interior pieces its not that bad. I don't know if you ever done it before but if you haven't just take your time and you should be fine. I didn't have any idea how to do it either, but I just took my time and it wasn't too bad. Well good luck, hey post some pics when your done.
