I'll get the pics taken later today since its past midnight now. Its still over at the shop, and someone backed into it and scratched the bumper, I wasnt able to go get it today but first thing in the morning. I'll be sure to get a picture of the damage that the guy who hit it is going to be paying for. Wish me luck folks. Oh and I'll make sure to put the pics on photopoint this time.

LordDragon where did you find them so cheap? I've been looking and they are running like almost $500.00 for front and back.

Even $500 front and back is cheap. I paid $400 for just fronts and there's a scuff mark on the driver's seat and a couple dimples in the leather. Of course, mine are the articulating Pontiac seats, not camaro seats.

I went to www.car-part.com and did a search for camaro seats starting at 2000 and working my way down until I found black leather. Happened that it was 1996 Camaro seats that I found on there. I called the place which was Neal Auto in Peoria, IL, and they told me it'd be 200 for the front seats and seatbelt stuff. Then I decided that since they had the maching rear seats I should get them there too, so they threw those in with the back seatbelt stuff for another 100. Was 25 dollars shipping and it took some doing to get them here. I'm about to go install those seats right now, I'll be able to post before and after pictures. Oh and the only flaw in the seats was the passenge side seatbelt holder on the seat was broken, and the trucking company used straps to hold the seats on a pallet and they dug into the leather some, not noticable but I may have those sections of the seats replaced.

Well as promised, here are the pictures of the installed seats.

I'll be replacing the carpet in there shortly, I realize it sort of clashes right now.

They look great, and I don't think the carpet clashes at all. That black/gray interior color scheme is available on a lot of newer cars. I was planning on doing that type of two-tone scheme when I redo the interior of my car.

I was thinking that graphite or dark grey carpet would look good. Whats in there now is light gray and I dont really care for it much.

You're right, dark gray or graphite would look better. At least you don't have to sweat it too badly in the mean time. I drove a Tahoe a while back that had the black/graphite colors to it and I swore that I would do that to my Firebird someday. Those colors in a black Firebird are going to look great, especially since I'm going to install an entire 4th gen interior AND the LS1 (stroked!) and 6-speed drive train. Now, all I have to do is win the lottery and I'll be all set!

Sounds cool to me, hopefully I'll get the new carpet within the next month or so. I'll post pictures of it after its done, though I may put off the carpet to get a posi unit and gears.

LordDragon, seats look great. I have a 91 Firebird and plan on doing the same thing. I was wondering, how hard were they to install and how long did it take?

I used the seat belts that were in the car already instead of my new ones, which saved some time. I had to do some cleaning because I only got this car a few months ago and I found all sorts of things under the seats like a pair of plyers, about a buck in change, a cd broken in half. Anyway, the whole process of pulling everything and replacing it with new seats took me about 3 to 3.5 hours.

Do the rear seat backs still lay down? How does it look? They would always be up to show off the beautiful leather but just wondering.

Yes the back seats still lean forward, they have the levers on either side that lock onto the studs already in the car. It was just a removal and bolt in of the seats, everything matches up.

I've seen those pics before but I dont mind seeing them again, really a good job there. I've pretty much settled on the idea of graphite carpet and black plastic to replace the gray thats in there now. If you all would like, I'll post the pics of it when I get more done.
