Couple of ways. Move your hood forward (adjust bolts where t mounts to hinges), MAJOR pain, or move the nosecone up by loosening the bolts under the ood that hold it on. This would be easier, but if your nose is already aligned properly, you'll have to screw with the hood. Good luck!!

There is 2 rubber stops that you can tighten down to make the hood sit more flush with the nose. I would try this first as this is the easy fix. If something is seriously misaligned though, this will not work.

Good luck

i have seen alot of 3rd gens with that problem. my cousin has a 89 RS there was no gap, then a deer decided to run into it. after the body shop got done with it there was a gap in the front between the hood and the front fascia. the body shop said that depending on the parts they get depends on if the gap will be there. if that is true i dont know. but after this happened, i have noticed a lot of 3rd gen camaro's with the gap. my .02

Check your hood latch. When I got my Z there was a very small gap between the hood and the nose. over a couple of months that gap expanded to about a 1/2 inch or so. Found out that my hood latch was loose. You can adjust the latch up and down for about 3/4 of an inch. That worked for me. Hope that helps.
