ok...my car has this little problem....i turn on the headlights and the sound system dies...(radio kicks off and doesnt turn back on)...then after about 1min maybe less the tail lights and dash lights all go out..plus the headlights wont go down...they stay on..just wont close...any ideas what might cause this? there is some slight right front drivers side bumper damamge..plus it shoved the right headlight back maybe half a cm..(darn crazy 80 year old people who dont look behind them)...it goes out when the little 30 amp fuse blows out...any clues? thanks for your help

 

Call a preist, I think your cars possessed. You may have a couple wires grounded, a short in the computer, or maybe your electrical sysytem is shot. Check JC Whitney for wiring harness and all the wires.

 

Ah found the problem after 4 drums of holy water and 19 confused catholics later...the radio (wired by a people who were trained to do that sort of thing...or so they said)had used power spliced off a line going to a bulb for my tach and was drawing enough power to snap the fuse everytime the lights went on...

 

you have gotta be jokin man!! that is crazy. they spliced off the tach wire huh? well at least you found the problem
