good car cover for third gen

Well, I've been gone for a while but it seems as if I'm going to keep my 89 formula now. After selling the IROC and pleading down to the states attorney, I'm going to keep my license. As a matter of fact, aggravated speeding (+40mph/class A misdemeanor) down to a petty offense. Oh well, at least I got to hammer one LS1 with the IROC before I sold it. At any rate, my wife and I have arrived at a compromise that results in keeping the formula, but parking it for a while, hence the car cover.

------------------
87 IROC, 350/5 speed. gmpp 350, vortec heads w/some work, XE268, 1.5rr's, 650dp, rpm intake, MSD ing., ect.
89 formula, L98.

I did a little research before buying mine. I bought the Custom Fit NOAH Size LG from Covercraft Industries (405) 238-9651. It's one of those 4 layer deals made from material by the Kimberly-Clark company. As for real world use. I repainted my car in pieces and had to leave the main body outside so I could paint the doors, hood etc in the garage. Because all the pieces are not on the car like the glass hatch it did not fit perfect, but would have if the car was whole. With 4 Nor'easters dropping over 3-4" of rain at night, the only place water dripped through was the hatch well area because the weight of all that water pushed the car cover into the well (remember no glass to resist) and formed a 15 gallon fish tank. With all that water, it still only dripped through the material. So, for about $160 I think it was a good investment. The cover is also breathable. I think www.classicindustries.com has 'em. Do a web search for NOAH car covers.

I have one from Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories in 1993. Still works great.
