Heritage stripes

I know alot pf people talk about this and its stricly opinion. Tge car is getting painted medium quasar blue metallic. I was going with viper blue but changed my mind. I always decided to go with silver herritage stripes instead of stripes all the way down. But whats your guys opinion on heritage stripes, get them painted on or use decals. Its a 92 rs with a z28 hood.

Re: Heritage stripes

Either way will look good just depends on the look you are going for. If you are going for a stock appearing car I'd go with the decals. The decals give you the option of taking them off later if you get tired of them.. thats always a nice option to have. If you want more of a finished show car look have them painted on.

I'm painting my 91 this winter and I'm going to use decals for the heritage stripes. I like having the option of removing them later.

Re: Heritage stripes

I got the GM cad files from someone on the board. Had a print shop cut a low tack mask and painted mine on myself. They came out good but not perfect, mainly because I cut my teeth on the job. Considerering I'd never painted a car before they look fantastic as far as I am concerned.

If you would like the files PM me.
