CRASHED... need help

Ok, I crashed the car today.. Not too bad at all. The lady in front of me was slowing down so I was slowing down. I turned to look at a gold Trans Am and she slammed on her brake and I hit her at about 10. Her car was old and she said she was fine so we walked away, but my front end is cracked. Now I need a new nose, and while I'm at it, I'm replacing the ground effect, parking lights, and adding fog lamps. Where can I get all this stuff new for cheapest? at gmpartsdirect.com I can get it all for about $480.. is that good? What would it cost to paint it then? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I would say that's really cheap (IMO)for new, some junkyards are almost that expensive(the ones you're not allowed to get your own stuff in). Just a guess for paint cost, probably close to the same amount you paid in parts to have someone paint it for you.

Ok thanks... my sister's friend's father owns a body shop so maybe I can get a deal. Til then, I just sanded down the scratches and gave them a good old coat of spray paint. I know its kinda trashy, but I'm 16 and on a Pizza Hut income so it'll do until I can get about $800.

Hey, thanks for mentioning me Andre. I've got the nose, I'm not sure about the other stuff. If I don't have it I'm sure I can find a car that does. I've been wanting to pick up another IROC or Z for parts anyway.

try www.tacreationsusa.com they wanted like $140 for a new aftermarket nose, best price I've heard. They sell it in their 91-92 GFX conversion kit so I'm guessin it looks fine. Also they should have some good front GFX pieces. Painting will probably set you back another 2-300 depending on where you go, hard to say though. just check around at some shops and ask around if anyone knows a good painter that's around your area.

LFN: What color is the nose and what shape is it in?

Edit: Also, do body parts from gmpartsdirect come sanded and primered? Are they reputable?

The Camaro nose I have is white and I don't see anything wrong with it. If you are going to buy one make sure you get a GM one. Sometimes you can have problems getting aftermarket parts to fit.

I would assume gmpartsdirect.com sells GM parts, am I correct?
