Fender tab rot repair

Engine: LR4 4.8
Transmission: 98-02 t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: Bw 9 bolt (3.70’s) pbr rotors
Fender tab rot repair

Ok i got a question im wondering if i cut out the fender tab rot / rocker panel do i have to worry about the car twisting im kinda warry about cutting it out since i saw on here that i might have the make a support which i dont have time an money for. I have the front floor section just before the seat to the foot board cut out to replace with new pieces i got off a donor car if someone could help out letting me know how to make the cut with out the twisting of the car thanks in advance

Without seeing exactly what you are cutting out I can't say for sure but I would support it anyway just to be sure it doesn't shift. All you really need to do is support the frame rail under the spot you are working, gravity pulling the center of the car down is the only force working against you. No expense really, just a jack stand or some blocks will do.
