Make a T/A look like a base model

the base model firebird or firebird formula look better than the T/A. I'm looking to buy a firebird but can pretty much only find T/A's. Would it be possible and practical to remove the "body kit" of the T/A so it would look leaner?

There would be holes left behind by the ground effects. IMO, it looks pretty ghetto to roll around with numerous holes in the body, and they'd have to get filled and then painted by a body shop. At that point, it would be cheaper to just find a Formula or base bird.

If you've already looked at the craigslist ads in your area, try searching for cars in areas about 2-3 hours away. The drive is a lot more practical than the money you'd spend at a body shop, IMO. Of course, you could always wait for the car you're looking for pop up in your area.

Buy a Firebird Formula 350 which is basically a Firebird with a Trans Am engine.
