Body Work in Process - Getting Close!

I just wanted to post some pictures of the progress - very happy with it so far. Hood, mirrors and hatch have to be painted yet, then everything put back together. I should have my car back in about 6 weeks, or just about when spring hits!

After paint & clearcoat. Pictures don't really do the colors justice, at least not these - the black has a blue/purple tint to it and both colors are metallic.

That's okay - the look of the hood isn't for everybody.

No, not the stock blue. I went to my body guy, we laid out 100+ samples of blue and 10+ shades of black. I picked the two that I liked the most. I think at some point he said it was an old Corvette blue, but I'm not sure.
