Tint and window roll down issues...

I've had my tint for about 1 year now. The problem is, ever since i got it, everytime i roll down the window, and roll it back up, i see on the tint itself horizontal lines all over of what seems to be dirt or grease or something. If i rub my finger on it, i can get it off. I think its comming from that "lip" that the window slides against when its going up and down...i think its there to prevent moisture/condensation in the door, and runs the length of the door-as long as the window is. Anyway, this happens on the inside of the door. I was just wondering what i need to do...take off the door panels and clean these "lips"? or rip them out, or what? Its very annoying and ugly. I dont like these marks on my tint. The drivers side is worse than the passenger side, but it happens to both windows. Its aggravating. Thoughts?

LOL I'd rather NOT rip s**t off anyway...too much work to put it back on. So cleaning that "lip" would help?? I really hope so. I just hate seeing them lines on the inside of my window. If that doesnt work, then i dont know whats next.

But now another question....clean it with what, and how? Cant use harsh chemicals, b/c of the window tint. It will damage it.

Thanks for the help!

Jza...that will be good for the window, but those "lips" that touch the window..the inner part of those needs to be cleaned. Thanks though.

well you could do what i did..but you must promise not to laugh cause this sounds really dumb...it worked though..i took some of that dry carpet clean stuff (the stuff you sprinkle on the carpet and vacuum back up) put it on the strip of stuff..then took my dads shop vac...(this is one of those like 10 or 15 hp monsters that sucks carpet up)and sucked the stuff back up after like half a hour....doesnt streak anymore

p.s. might want to let the car air out after you do this..i used the stuff marked rain fresh (it was my moms alright? dont laugh)
and it reaked for a week later...

Ok,ok...i am NOT laughing. Good idea though, thanks for the help. I was actually thinking about using the stuff marked "Toilet Bowl Surprize." LOL Ok...i am just busting your @$$...but i will try that..if it works, i have nothing to loose....and i have a shop vac anyways, so that should work pretty good. Thanks again...rain fresh, huh? Well, at least it wasnt "Panty Fresh." LOL....just kidding
