Couple of questions

How do I get the freaking shifter **** off? It is a ball no the square one. Second how much does it cost to convert my car to convertible??? Third how much would it cost for custom leather seats with IROC-Z embroidered in them? Fourth How hard is it to put in power windows?

soon: 6-speed, rebuild 305, exhaust

if it's auto, take off the button and you'll see a clip, take it off and pull the ball, if it's manual, twist it off.

as for the convertable conversion, all I can say is probably a hell of a lot

for the seats, check a local upholstery shop, probably 8-900 depending on local prices

and for power windows, get a donor car and swap over all motors/wiring, etc. never done it so I don't know quite what parts are needed (rails, guides for example, i always thought they were the same on both, but get a definitive yes or no)

It would probably be cheaper to buy a convertable with power windows.

Making a convertable is cheaper then you think. Find a slow moving tracter trailer and drive right under it. Be sure to duck, I can't stress this enough.

As for the leather, i'd by forth gen seats there going from 400-600 on ebay right now, much cheaper then the 650 i was quoted from thirdgenparts.

You want custom seats & interior, I paid $2500 for the front, rear seats, leather dash pocket & shifter bootie, ALL Leather door panels, (steering wheel & Shifter **** not yet installed, don't have them back from the shop.)

Keep in mind I have multiple leather colors, AND this is not standard Automotive leather, it is rated for Aricraft. Very similar to what they use in new Ferrari's. (feels like butter). One main difference it is not just "Painted", this leather is pressure died, so the color is not only skin deep it goes all the way through the leather.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate it.. . When the upholster said 2500 bucks for the job my heart sank, but I figured it would be worth it, and it was..
