JUNKYARD... WHAT 2 LOOK 4???

Hey, I'm goin up to the junkyards tomorrow to look for stuff for my Camaro. I have a '91 RS. I want to get some 4th Gen Seats in my car. Would Firebird seats fit too or would I have to make adjustments? I heard Camaro 4th Gen Seats will just bolt right in. Is this also true? Also, what else should I look for in junkyards for my car?

All 4th gen Firebird & Camaro seats will bolt up to fit in a 3rd gen. As far as what to look for that's up to you since we are not the owners of your car.

Well, I'm back from the yards. I went to one place and all the camaros and birds had water damage because they were all totaled so the seats were all horrible. The next place I went I asked the guy if he had any Camaros and he showed me. He had two Camaros. The first one had the black and grey seats (cloth) But the back driver's side seat had 2 cigarette burns in it. I walked to the next Camaro, a '95, and looked in it. Perfect seats front and back. They are almost all black with some grey in the middle of the seat. I asked how much, he told me $150. He said to give him a little time and he'd get them out and give them to me. I'm going to pick them up now and I will post a new topic and pictures soon.

while you are there look for 3rd generation irocs and trans ams. there are tons of cool parts in those cars that go good in rallys sports and sport coupes. like for example the overhead consoles, i put one in my 88 iroc, only paid $5, and i love it. then there are the wonderbars from the iroc. also if you are down with cupholders the 90-92 firebirds have them. rear security shades, rear hatch louvers, if you like em. there are tons of things i have found in the yard that i put in my iroc, and for cheap too. good luck and let us know what you come across.
