How 2 tell if its 1LE break set up???...
how can u tell if the car is a 1LE breaks?...
i ask bcuz i found a camaro not sure on the year it had a TPI auto trans and I'm sorta positive it had a posi rear end but not sure...but it had calipers all around...the calipers in the front didn't look like the ones i have on my 83..the rear calipers don't look anything like the one off an 85...
how would i b able 2 know if it is 1LE break set up?...just wounderin...
i wish i had taken pics...ill try 2 take sum 2morrow...
but if anyone in SO CAL lookin 4 a rear and with calipers let me know...i don't mind goin and helping someone grab this from the junkyard...

what year?
later cars had the aluminum pbr caliper int he rear, they have fins, and loot different than the earlier and worthless iron calipers
the fronts would be aluminum (silver color, unless really dirty), and have dual pistons, you will see 2 round holes about the size of a half dollar, side by side, on the side of the caliper facing the wheel, and fins.

ok thanks...idk the year...
i have the the 83 in the front and 85 calipers in the back...the 85 ones get stuck...is there away to fix that?...
or can i can i just swap out all 4 calipers from the car i found at the junk yard and put them on my 83 camaro?..
or would i have to modify sumthin?...
im on a budget...:/...

ok thanks...yea i went back 2day and they r the stock ones 4 that year...i couldn't tell at first cuz they r all dirty...
