hey I just had the same prob, well if your compressor is coming on and the air is coming out then your blower motor is bad. Its not that hard to change, but kind of a pain, Cause two bolts are hard to get to but not impossiable. Yeah blower motors aren't that much like 20 or 30 dollars new. Oh but you might want to check your fluse under the dash first. If thats fine then try your blower motor. Hope this helps.
well if you get any air coming out on any other settings, then it's not the blower motor. check and make sure you're getting power to the blower motor, if not, then there's two problem connections you should check:
1. the brown wire (supplies the 12V to the control head) behind the vent selector. there's a connector that often burns up, check it for current, then if it's okay,
2. a red wire in the engine compartment on the forewall just to the passangers side of center, same type of connection, check to see if it's burnt out too.
Then again, if you have power to the blower motor, then that's probably the culprit.

well mine did that too, but we prob have to different opinions on what little air is, Yeah mine put like barely any but stop after alittle bit. But 86z could be right, oh I forgot to asked does any of the defoster, vent, or heater work? Cause mine didn't and I had to get that fixed right away cause when it rained I couldn't defost the windsheld talk about a pain. But check both of those, the really easy way to check the blower motor is just get a used one or even a new one and you could just unplug your old one and a plug in the replacement and turn on your ac, if it spins then it was your blower motor if not, its prob your restor. Well hope you get it fixed keep us updated.
Well, me and my dad went out to look at it today... I feel really dumb. The person that had the car before me used electrical tape to hold everything together... i mean EVERYTHING... I found the blower motor (we don't have a owner's manual... if anyone knows where I can get one for a '91 RS V6 please tell me) But anywayz... I found the blower motor and my dad touched the wire and it fell off! The connecter wasn't even on it. My dad went and got his stuff and fixed it in 1 minute. Now I have AIR!!! I was rolling my windows down but now my passenger window motor is practically dead.... i have to pull the window up hehe. Thanks a lot!

hey if you plan to keep the car then you should get the real deal manuel. The helms shop manual. Its the best out there, cause it tells you how to do everything step by step and really detailed. Its going to be about 100.00 if helms does not have it in stock which they prob won't then try Bishko Books www.autobooksbishko.com they have the reprints. Thats where I got mine. So if you plan to keep your ride then get one of those. Thats what the shops use when they work on your car. Well good luck
