'87 camaro restoration

So ive got the car tore apart and ran into this little rust problem on the quarter qheel weel that travels all the way to the inside. Id show you except it wont let me load the image I need. Anyway im restoring the whole car and need to know a good way to fix this. I looked and not even a new quarter will fix it. Any savy ways would be great.

Man we have to see pix of this rust damage to help you and even then it's just a guess without laying hands and eyes on the car.

Like I said the site absolutely refuses to let me up load any photos. Otherwise id start showing the rebuild. Ive looked around and found some people who fixed it suprisingly. I think my method will be to cut out the bad patch and use some steel the same thickness as the car and shape it into the spot. Its not that hard to do for me so ill go about it that route.
