A couple of days ago I got stopped by the cops and because I had black-outs on my tail lights, they weren't too happy. They told that my tail light covers were a safety hazzard and that I needed to either get rid of them or get brighter bulbs (and I don't want to get rid of them ). So, I was hoping that someone could tell me if there's anything out there that would be alot brighter than the normal tail light bulbs, would show up through my tail light covers, and where I could get them.

Someone posted the same question a few days ago-they were talking about 2057 bulbs in the rear. You might want to do a search.

Check out this link. It shows bulbs you can use in place of what you have so you can get brighter results.

 

APC sells bulbs that are LED. I have them in mine. They show through the blackouts good. You can get them through jegs ar pep boys around here in FL. They are a rice boy thing made for clear outs but they are really bright!!!
