i don't know where this goes
i have no clue where this post should be. i put it here because i come here most often, and it seems all questions get answered here. for a while now, i've been looking for an 83 or 84 z28 with the 5.0HO and 5 speed, with options like t tops, pw, pdl, etc. while i have yet to find something around here, i have over time found some that match my description on ebay. the problem is they're half way across the country. does anyone know any good delivery companies? what kind of prices should i expect?

I honestly have no idea where this would go either...
For pickup and delivery of an automobile I'd guess at minimum, you're looking at $500 ...
Don't know any companies right offhand but look around on eBay for those people who have sold cars in the past and ask them how they've gone about shipping cars... I'd assume its fairly easy to figure out ... its done enough times...
Personally I'd travel the distance to get the car on a greyhound or someshyt and drive it home
but thats just me... I like to travel
Thats also assuming the car has no drivability problems of course

I check once on shipping a 67 Camero from FL to MI, price was $1500. Someone told me you can contack trucking companies that run cross country, sometimes they send empty trucks there or back and will give good deals on bringing back cars.

I have used D & D Transport (http://www.cartransporting.com/) Phone # (866)625-1095.
I used them when I sold my 81 z28 to a guy in Florida. It cost the guy $600 to ship it from Texas to Florida and even my car was not running. Ask for Toby, he worked with me and the buyer.
Most shipping companies will charge between $50 to $250 more if it is not running.
I had quotes from $600 to as high as $1200.
Call around. I used the movecars.com and it list just about every auto shipping company in the U.S.
Hope this helps!!!
