Removing Antennae Bezel
I feel stupid for asking, but how do you remove the antennae bezel on a non-power antennae? All the searching I've done says to remove the wheel and fender liner. I've removed the bezel nut on the top of the fender and the fender liner that gets me access to the actual antennae mounts. I don't see a way to get to the (I assume) clips of the bezel without removing the hood and fender.
Any help?

IIRC there are no "clips", just a mounting bracket at the base of the antenna assembly. Once you get in behind the fender liner, you will probably need an extension to reach it. Once that is undone, you should be able to drop the assembly. Will need to push out the grommet for the antenna wire and you should be good to go.

X2 what he said. Sometimes they are all corroded on top of the fender. I usually cut the nut as they are cheap and wiggle it around to get the whole assembly to separate.

Yea you should be able to get to it by removing the fender liner as stated. It is about right in the center of the fender. The rod that supported mine was gold with a silver colored nut. If you are looking back with your head in the wheel well the nut to remove it should be facing you.

Re: Removing Antennae Bezel
Maybe I wasn't clear. I was talking about the plastic bit on top of the fender just under the bezel nut.

That's the part I couldn't initially remove. Mine was dull, and I wanted to take it off to paint. I went ahead and removed the bolt you guys are talking about at the base and dropped the antennae down. Still no way I could get to the bezel from below. There's a small hole ~2-3" and then a cavity. Couldn't get my hand up in there. Maybe could use some needlenose pliers if I had the room. I was however able to get a hook pick in from the top (now that the antennae wasn't there) to pull in the tabs what I initially incorrectly referred to as clips.
Thanks
