were thirdgens ever offered without tilt? I was just wondering.my car has like no options other than ac and its a v8 but I would really like to find a non tilt steering column somewhere to end all the tilt related problems everyone has with them.

Mine doesn't tilt, and if it does I don't know how. Someone wanna tell me, lol. I have v8 305 RS Camaro 1989

both of my camaros tilt. there's a lever on the left hand side of the column next to the turn signal handle if you were to have it.

i havnt seen any of my friends camaro's who doesnt have a tilt wheel...

My 86 Camaro does not tilt but I want to change to a tilt. Anyone know how?

My 86 Firebird did not have tilt, and my 86 Camaro doesn't have tilt. My 85 IROC and my 88 GTA both have tilt.

Pulling out the steering column is a piece of cake. 4 (or so) bolts at the firewall, 2 under the dash, one harness plug and a couple screws under the hood. Takes 20 minutes to pull it out. I bought a tilt column for my 86 but I never got around to swapping the ignition and other guts over.
