I dunno, but I saw t-tops on an 91 Mustang, and they never had t-tops, can't be to costly.

If you had a torch and wnet and found some t-tops at a junk yard, you could cut off its roof area, then cut your roof to match and weld it back in place. And poof t-tops, then all ya gotta do is sand, prime, patch, sand prime and paint

I'm not 100% sure, but I've headr estimates of about $2000. Most people think it's just easier to sell the one they have and buy one with t-tops. I have t-tops in mine and with the heat wave I take them off everyday.

Dont burn me or anything, but I know a couple of people with early to mid 80's GTs that did have factory t-tops, the werent the best option, and the one the Camaros and FB's got were more lasting. I wouldnt go with an aftermarket t-top. You'll lose a lot of the body strength do to flex, and they will leak from the get-go. I cant speak from personal experience, just others.

Why buy those frustrating things. They only end up leaking. I heard that even if your cars body is bumped as in as accident, they get screwed up cause te alignment on them is never the same. Stick with a hardtop and save yourself the hardship. Thats the reason i have to sell my car because ive repaleced the whole top area of my car with the t-tops and they still leak.

Buy a car with t-tops. Like it was said, the body of a t-top car need more support then one without. If you can afford it buy a car thats like yours with t-tops and swap everything.

It cost me $2500 back in 1990. I've havn't had a problem with them leeking. Normal body flex just like the factory T-top.
