PLEASE HELP!! Want 12v button manual shift **** on a T-5

I just got an air horn, and I want it to be activated by a button on the shift ****...it's gotta be a black ****, white would look ridiculous...what size are our threads on the stock shifter? I've heard nasty rumors they're metric...and the Hurst shift **** I want is 3/8x16, whatever that means, I'm guessing 3/8 and 16 threads...but whatever. I bet a kit that would give several different thread adapters would do it, but the only one I've found is the B&M, which is white...that would look ridiculous. PLEASE HELP!! Is there anything I can do? What IS our thread size? Thanks for the replys...

3/8 sounds about right, I just installed my shift **** (in sig) and it was designed for up to 5/16".. it had a nylon thread so a little elbow grease and it cut it's own threads... I would be that Hurst takes into account the F-body size since it's such a big market. The second number "16" says how many threads it has per inch of length.
