Hey guys, im looking to find an OEM hood for my car. Ive called GM and they're discontinued/out of stock. Wondering if anyone has tried one of these OER? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/oe...8/model/camaro or if anyone can suggest a good place to get a good fitting OE Replica. Year one doesnt seem to have one.

Im not interested in going aftermarker cowl or anything of that nature. That being said if anyone has their stock hood and its in 9/10 condition or better Id be happy to buy it.

There's plenty of good used hoods out there...everything I've ever read about aftermarket body panels says that fit and finish sucks. You're going to have to paint whatever hood you end up getting anyway, and a good bodyman can straighten out any dings before painting for probably a lot cheaper than you'd pay for an aftermarket hood that won't fit right in the first place.

My stock hood is in decent shape just need repaint. If ya find a decent fiberglass hood cheap I'll trade you. Trying to lighten my car.lol
