wip trans am build

Got a 1985 trans am as a roller about a year and a half ago, bought up a family friends 72 350 4 bolt main and used a 92 700r4 from a z28 my dad had lying around. Kind of a father son project. Few months ago bought a Carrera notchback and finally have it put on. The car was primer when I bought it but the guy had swapped the ugly bumperette bumpers onto it and took the ground fx off. Definitely looking to replace the bumpers as with the power bulge hood, it's looking way too much like a formula. Tried to upload pics but my phone is acting up. As soon as I get home I will. If anyone has the bumpers and ground effects around south Bend, Indiana in good shape and decently priced, please let me know!

I have a front bumper for an '85 firebird that had gfx on it. No cracks in it. $50. I live 30 mins north of Grand Rapids, Michigan if interested.

I also have a stick flat firebird hood as well. I went to the power bulge hood on mine.

Re: wip trans am build

You had a really good price on the bumper. Think I'm going to stick with the power bulge, better for my carb. Thanks for offering. I'm sorry I didn't catch the bumper in time. You don't have any other parts? I saw your ad with the doors and the hood and tailights

Re: wip trans am build

I just listed the old fenders. Unfortunately the entire interior was junk, the gfx were screwed in from the outside and then the holes bondo'd over. So they were junk as well. Only thing I could salvage was the shell. So I am starting over from there. Best of luck with your build!!
