foggy front blinkers

Is there a way to clean-up my nasty looking front blinkers? I took the assembly out and tried to seperate the plastic lens to clean behind it but it's glued. Any tips?

I agree .it makes a huge differance in the looks.and you will never get them as clean as new.after you get them ,cut the liitle drain so water doesnt get in them anymore.(see recall page).and never wipe them dry, they scratch easy.

what I did for mine was sand all the tiny letters and numbers of the front and then cover the lens with 5% window tint. I did it two years ago and it still looks great.

You can get new ones for $27 each.

I got mine through Dal at http://www.worldparts.com/vandevereoldsmobile/ He sells all parts 10% over cost.

Those part numbers are correct, and will also fit Z-28s with ground effects back to 85 (not Sport Coupes!). And new ones definitely look better then anything you could possibly do to clean up old ones. Believe me, I tried before I forked out that money, and yet I don't regret spending it.

Once you get the front lamps how do you change them do they pull out from the front or do you have to do them under the car? Thanks

Call me stupid, but this worked for my cars parking light lenses, so it might work for yours. I took black majic to them and they cleaned right up, no more fog, no more anything.....looks bran new!
