SS hood
Mine fit nearly perfect . It was primed and painted , thats it . Not prep work , low spots ect. was needed . The underside is finished too . For an aftermarket hood I was impressed , kudo's to ASCD .

Hey Brad, what was wrong with your hood? Did it overhang the bumper or was there to large of a gap between it and the fenders? And how did you fix it, if you did?

My hood has a slight warp at each of the hinge mounting points, causing the hood to not be flush with the fenders. Instead, the lip of the hood is about 1/4" higher than the fender at part, but then smooths out towards the nose. I don't know what could really be done to flatten it out, but it's not so bad that it distracts too much. I haven't had anyone even mention it yet.
The only other problem is a couple of very small bubbles in the fiberglass which caused two slight bumps on the side of the scoop.
Even less noticeable than the warping.
I can overall say that the hood is worth it. I think the weirdness that some of us experience in the hood is just due to the nature of fiberglass... it's hard to GET a perfect hood. It's luck of the draw with any fiberglass hood you get, unless the manufacturer is so picky as to test fit and throw out all non-perfect hoods. I somehow doubt any company has quality control that high
