Headlight bushing kit

Hi guys so I've just opened my faulty headlight that would never pop up but the engine would keep spining on and on, and I noticed that where the 3 bushings should be, there were only crumbles of plastic. So I need to order 3 new bushings (the other one is fine, I checked it) But I can't order from top down solutions since shipping is too pricey here in canada. Have you guys come across a good kit on ebay? with or without the gear gasket is fine, i'll just reuse it if I have too. Thanks for all the replies.

Are they as good as the top down solution ones? there isn't much info about it...

Re: Headlight bushing kit

At Advance Auto, one can get HELP Brand Ford Window Regulator Bushings (3 in a pack) which replace the old bushings which crumble.

also fuel lines can do it too and last much longer:

Re: Headlight bushing kit

I repaired mine 3 pieces of air hose cut to the right length to fit in there. Saw that fix on-line somewhere.
Saw another article once where someone used pieces of hot glue stick.

Re: Headlight bushing kit

its all about getting the right dimensions. used mics to measure the actual ones from a kit then measured the break lines at the auto store to get the right diameter then cut to the right width. i think it was .581 of an inch...

Re: Headlight bushing kit

You can also use 1/4-20 hex nuts fitting a 7/16 wrench. Rebuilt my last set of motors for under $2.00 after replacinf the 3 cover screws on each motor and gasket material
